Who we are
Golden River Music BV, Korte Haagstraat 13, 9200 Dendermonde, Belgium. VAT BE 0476 725 108. Phone +32 (0)52 22 11 87, info@goldenrivermusic.be.
These terms apply to every offer on goldenrivermusic.eu and to every agreement concluded through it. By placing an order you accept them. Terms of the customer only apply when we have agreed to them in writing.
Offers and agreement
Offers are without obligation unless they state a term for acceptance. A written quotation is valid for two weeks unless stated otherwise.
The agreement is concluded when you have accepted the offer and these terms and we have sent you an order confirmation by email. Electronic communication is a valid form of agreement.
We show stock status as accurately as possible. If an ordered item turns out not to be in stock, we inform you. We may refuse an order without giving reasons.
Prices
Prices are in euro and shown excluding VAT. The order overview and the invoice show all prices including costs and VAT at the rate that applies in your country.
Obvious errors may be corrected, also after the agreement has been concluded. A discount applies to the agreement it was given for only.
Payment
Online orders are paid through our payment provider with the methods offered at checkout, such as Bancontact, iDEAL, credit card and PayPal.
Orders placed by email or phone are paid by bank transfer within thirty days of the invoice to IBAN BE80 3850 7001 6077, BIC BBRUBEBB. In case of late payment, statutory interest and collection costs may be charged and further deliveries may be suspended.
Delivery
You choose digital delivery (E-score), printed delivery or both. E-scores can be downloaded right after payment and are also linked in the confirmation email.
Printed scores are sent by bpost to the address you provide. Pick-up in Dendermonde is possible by appointment. We deliver within one month after full payment unless agreed otherwise; if we cannot, we inform you and agree a new term, and if we miss that term too you may cancel the order.
We may deliver in parts and will tell you by email. Check the parcel on delivery and tell us right away about any damage.
Postage for printed scores follows the bpost rates for the destination, plus a contribution of 1.60 euro towards packing and administration.
Cancellation and right of withdrawal
You may cancel an order of printed scores free of charge until it has been dispatched, by email or phone.
Consumers may withdraw within 14 calendar days after delivery without giving reasons. Return the items complete, unused and in their original packaging where possible; return costs are for the customer. We refund within 30 days after receiving the return, using the original payment method.
Excluded from withdrawal: digital sheet music (E-scores), opened software or media, and scores that show signs of use or copying.
Printing errors and manufacturing defects are of course replaced free of charge.
Warranty and liability
Defective goods are repaired or replaced free of charge within the legal warranty under Belgian law. Report a defect by email within two months after discovering it. If repair or replacement is impossible or insufficient, you receive an appropriate price reduction or may terminate the agreement.
We are not bound by obligations in case of force majeure. Our liability for direct damage is limited to the value of the ordered products.
E-scores and intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the website and our publications belong to Golden River Music, its suppliers or other rights holders. Illegal copying and distribution is prohibited and punishable.
E-scores are personalised and protected with a digital watermark. They are licensed for personal use or, for ensemble works, for the ensemble they were bought for.
Complaints, privacy and applicable law
Send complaints to info@goldenrivermusic.be. We answer within 14 days, or let you know if more time is needed.
We process personal data according to our privacy policy and never sell your email address.
Belgian law applies. Disputes are brought before the competent court in Dendermonde, unless mandatory law designates another court.
